Rate changes of TNF-α in different groups after inducing stroke in rat. Rats were pretreated with BBR (100 mg/kg, oral administration) and BBR-loaded micelle (100, 75, 50, 25 mg/kg) for 14 days before ischemia. ELISA kit was used to detect the level of TNF-α after ischemia. Results show concentrations of BBR 100 mg/kg, and nano BBR 100 mg/kg (P < 0.01), 75 and 50 mg/kg (P < 0.05) had more reduction in TNF-α level compared to the stroke group
